Reed are excited to be partnering with a national leader in professional and financial services in their search to recruit an experienced Payroll Analyst.
The main purpose of this role is to oversee the processing of payroll to a range of clients, whilst forging strong client relationships.

The main responsibilities of the role are:
- Taking responsibility for managing client payroll needs, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to process
- Overseeing and processing payrolls, coordinating resources to meet deadlines and quality standards
- Leading payroll projects whilst developing and implementing process improvements in collaboration with the wider team
- Managing and maintaining client relationships across a varied portfolio, regularly monitoring service levels
- Handling and resolving all payroll-related queries for your clients
- Working alongside senior managers and stakeholders to identify training needs and supporting team development
- Supervising day-to-day team activities, overseeing work, giving clear direction, and offering regular, constructive feedback
- Responding to employee enquiries, escalating to Assistant Managers where appropriate
- Leading new client implementations, managing the full end-to-end process to ensure a smooth onboarding experience
- Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of pension scheme setup and administration
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience working in a similar payroll role
- A sound working knowledge of UK payroll legislation
- A background in team management
- Demonstratable client facing skills
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Excellent communication skills
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently
